This past Tuesday Carter came home with a large purple backpack... reluctantly. It was a school project and he did not want to participate. Last weekend on a visit to Home Depot, the boys were given kits to make a wooden fire truck. Look what I found in my fabric stash yesterday. Originally meant for other little girls but now they're for mine. The Strawberry Shortcake fabrics are each a bit smaller than a fat quarter so they will likely be bibs or cloths. The plaids are metre remnants destined to be cozy, soft receiving blankets.
