our new lifestyle

just a few more pictures of life around here since we've become five...

Upon being introduced to the congregation, Paityn gave a very royal wave which brought many giggles and chuckles.

On this new lifestyle with three little ones: day by day, right? -- I've got half a day (that's me alone with the three) under my belt and it's not too bad. yet? I'm thankful for the season and that we can go outside to get the sillies out of little boys -- walks to the mailbox, digging in the sandbox, riding bikes and street hockey on the driveway.

(I do have an itch to sew but when and how, I just do not know right now. All the sewing equipment and supplies have been packed away for a while. I do still have to post my most recent projects though. I think I'm behind about five, or so...)

she has arrived!

Early this morning, we met the newest addition to our family:

Introducing Paityn Mareika born this morning at 1:07am.

She weighed 7lbs, 3 oz and measured 19 1/4 inches.

Paityn has two very proud big brothers ready to help with anything!

We are all doing great but are a bit tired after the ordeal. Papa and Gramma are here visiting/helping out/entertaining Carter and Logan while the rest of us recuperate.

Saw this on luvinthemommyhood (original image from ibreakplates.com) and had to share. Love, love, love it! I actually got an lol from Mike on this one when I showed him... Here marks 32 weeks -- 8 weeks (or less, please!) to go!

bump

So Kim W. told me that if I was going to have a pregnancy countdown ticker on my blog, there should also be 'bump pictures'. Here you go, Kim. I've never taken bump pictures, so it's a first for me. I even wore my 'big marshmallow' shirt for the occasion!

Well really, how many pictures did you expect to see? A bump is a bump is a bump. She's in there or 'inn-air' as Logan would say. Carter is still adamant that there is not a baby in Mom's tummy; it's just food but he does acknowledge that we will be having a baby girl join us soon. Carter says her name is 'Charlie'. No offence meant to all the Charlie's out there, but 'Charlie' is not a name that I want to stick!

countdown

The Countdown to Baby Girl is posted... kinda fun, eh? 27 weeks doesn't seem like very far but 89 days left doesn't seem like much either.

a little face

Here she is! Our third little one and a little sister for Carter and Logan. It all seems much more real when there's a face to look at, doesn't it? I'm hoping you can all see her head on the left with her hand above her face. See her nose and below her mouth is open with her tongue sticking out... Think what you will of that -- but she'll fit in just right!
